BMW are teasing the production version of the i3 with this silhouette
We’re sure there will be a few surprises in store when BMW finally reveals the production version of the electric i3 at the end of July, but does it really warrant a tease? The small BMW i3 City Car has been around since BMW revealed it as a concept (and changed its name from Megacity Vehicle to i3) two years ago. And the production i3 will be revealed two years to the day from the arrival of the i3 concept, on 29th July.

The Tesla Model S electric car has been a bigger success than anyone could have guessed, and is probably the only electric car that offers a real alternative to an ICE car. But a one-model range is not a recipe for long-term success, so Tesla are planning on delivering a 4WD electric SUV and a BMW 3-Series EV to add to the Model S, with production of the Model X SUV now conformed for early 2015. In an email to customer who have already put a deposit down on the Model X SUV, tesla reveals that they will be building the first production prototypes this Autumn, and that proper production of the Model X will commence in early 2015.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed has never been accused of being a slouch when it came to power, bluntly incorporating the word Speed in its name, but it seems the company's engineers believe there is still room for improvement. And so for 2015 the Bentley Continental GT Speed and Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible will receive a slight bump up in power, and will now offer 626-hp and 607 lb-ft of torque. That's up from 616-hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the 2014 versions of this 6.0-liter W12 beast.
